Places to Eat and Drink Click here to return to the Top of the Page
There are a number of Inns and Hotels (pubs) within easy reach of Fordhead. The closest is only a mile away in Kippen, the farthest is only 5 miles away in Buchlyvie. Between these two extremes there are places to try in Gargunnock and Thornhill.

Choose from pubs with pool tables and darts, pubs with beer gardens,
pubs with real ale or pubs with blazing open fires.

No matter what choice you make, be assured that you will receive
a warm welcome, excellent food, service and hospitality.
In every case, we would recommend you book ahead for
evening meals, especially at the week-end which is the busiest time.

If you have a car, getting to any of these 7 pubs is not a problem
(just be careful not to drink and drive).

By bus, Kippen, Gargunnock and Buchlyvie are on the regular
routes that pass Fordhead, (in this case drink as much as you like).
